One thing I hear from many of my senior adult clients is: I don’t want to leave my home.
I get that. I often don’t want to leave mine, either. Although I believe in the power of community, it’s also important to have rituals for when we’re alone and the days when the weather is bad or we simply don’t want to leave the house. That’s where these videos come in handy.
Every week, a new senior adult yoga video will be published to my YouTube Channel.
Videos include: chair yoga, standing yoga, floor yoga, restorative yoga, yin yoga, meditation, and breath.
Peace and Love,
Tips and Notes Before You Begin:
Please, please, please consult with your doctor before beginning any fitness program, including this one. Please make sure you are feeling stable before beginning with any balance or new yoga posture. I will describe each pose to the best of my ability, and I am counting on you to not perform any poses that you think could cause you harm. I AM NOT A DOCTOR, A NURSE, OR A YOGA THERAPIST. These poses and classes are offered as guides, not as medicine. Please ensure your safety before beginning. I cannot be held responsible for any injuries that may occur from the offerings in these videos. Always use your best judgement.

A Note About Props:
Please visit my suggested props page if you plan on practicing regularly at home. These are the props I use and recommend for all of my students. Some are inexpensive, others are not. Do not feel that you have to buy these, you can always be creative with what you have at home. I offer suggestions on the props page for items around the house that might work in place of these props.
In addition, here’s a video explaining all the props I use at home.
Pay attention to your breath. Pay attention to your body. Stop and listen. Stop and listen. Stop and listen. Notice which muscles are lengthening. Slow down and notice if you’re losing your breath. You are your own best guide.
